                                        Studio Policies

BOOKING FEES: A $100 retainer is required upfront to reserve your date. This is NON-REFUNDABLE. No exceptions. This fee covers initial communication, all planning, location hunting, and block off a specific time frame for your session.


ILLNESS POLICY: On the day of the session if anyone has any signs of illness, the appointment must be rescheduled. If anyone shows up ill or shows signs of illness at the beginning of the session, the session will be canceled and an additional retainer will be charged in order to reschedule. Please do not schedule any well-child immunization visits within the week or day of your scheduled session. Immunization can make children feel unwell for their session. Our Illness policy is in place to protect all clients and employees of Luky Robles Photography.


COVID-19 STUDIO POLICY: All persons coming to the studio must wear a mask to enter Luky Robles Photography located in Silver Spring M.D, masks may be removed once inside and the temperature is already taken. Clients are responsible to inform Luky Robles Photography if anyone in the household has been directly exposed to someone who has tested positive with COVID-19 within 14 days of their session. Clients also understand that only immediate family who is being photographed can attend the studio sessions unless previously approved. Anyone outside of the immediate family will be asked to leave the floor, or the session will be canceled without any refund or reschedule option.

CANCELLATIONS: If you are a no-call/no show, you are forfeiting your booking fee and we will not schedule with you again. Please know that when we block off a time slot for you, we are holding that spot for only you, therefore we are not able to schedule someone else. We will not tolerate any no-call/no-show clients.

RESCHEDULING: We understand that life happens, if you need to reschedule for any reason, please try to give us 72 hrs or more notice. If you happen to fall ill on the day of your session, please reschedule. We work every day with all age groups and cannot risk passing on anything to our clients.  If rescheduling is more than 30 days out, a new booking fee will be required. (The new booking fee will be waived if we have previously discussed a date and for special circumstances such as travel, military, health reasons.)


 WEATHER CONDITIONS: Sometimes Mother Nature doesn't like to cooperate. We check the weather throughout the week. If it's forecasted to rain on the day of your session and/or the ground is wet and muddy on the day of your session, we will contact you before your session is scheduled and ask how you would like to proceed. I can either reschedule your location session for another day or depending on the session type move to our Brentwood MD Home studio.


We respectfully reserve the right to reschedule a session due to illness, emergency, death in the family, inclement weather, and any other unforeseen events beyond our control.  We will be sure to inform you of any such occurrences and reschedule your session as soon as possible

TARDINESS: Please try to plan to arrive on time for your session.  If you are running late, please notify us. We respect every single client's time and put an incredible amount of effort into scheduling and planning a session, so please respect ours. If you are 10-15 minutes late you may have to cut into your session time and forego outfit changes and/or setups. If you are more than 30 minutes late, you will forfeit your booking fee and we reserve the right to cancel the session. We of course understand unforeseen circumstances such as illness or accidents we just ask for communication. If we are late, we will communicate that with you and your session time will not be affected.


  PETS: Pets are allowed only if being photographed and must be on a leash or in a carrier. Please let me know in advance if you plan on bringing your pet.
